Star-Spangeled Mort

'Mazing Man was one of a number of funny comic books coming out of DC in the late 80's (the most popular of which was Keith Giffen's take on the Justice League). 'Mazing Man was, in reality, Sigfried Horatio Hunch III, " benignly deranged little man in Queens, New York who dresses in a homemade costume and performs deeds like unclogging drains and watching out for local children," at least according to Wikipedia. I never read 'Mazing Man, but it seems like a humorous little book that I might give a try some day.

The new Mort is up, although her left boot is usually a little less pixelated in real life (I hate it when the only picture I can find has the characters name splashed across it). Have fun!

Dog Loving Mort

Nekron is at least one of the incarnations of death found in the DC Universe. This is the one that most often feuds with the Green Lanterns (there is some mumbo-jumbo about his powers growing stronger if immortals like the Guardians of the Universe are killed). His power is the ubiquitous death touch and the apparent ability to bring people back to life. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed the Halloween Countdown as much as I enjoyed putting it together.

The new Mort is about as far away from Halloween as you can get. For the record, he is the one with the punch bowl on his head and his underwear on the outside.
